GRADE 1

Grade One,

I know that the term is over but as we head into the new term please take the time to read the reminders below so that your child is ready for Term 2

• Every student needs to supply two boxes of tissues for use in the classroom.
• Students are to bring their Goulburn Valley Library card so that it can be photocopied and kept on record.
• Students need to be in full school uniform.
• Sports days are Mondays and Thursdays so students need to be in full sports uniform on those days.
• Homework is due on Fridays and to be collected on Mondays.
• Readers and logs need to come to school every day, because the children read on 4 to 5 days a week, 3 days with their buddies but also with other classroom helpers. If children’s yellow log books are signed by a parent, their books will be changed. Student’s readers will be changed on Wednesdays.
• Library Day is Friday. Children need to bring their school library book back to enable them to borrow new books each week.

Within the classroom:

Thank-you to all parents who have supported their students this term, your support is imperative to your child’s learning.

This term, Grade 1’s were asked to complete a project on family traditions which only a small number of students completed.

Harmony Day:

The Grade 1’s had a lovely time on Harmony Day.

Swimming:

Grade 1s have participated in swimming for this last week of school and have enjoy it.
